Juliane Schmitt (alias smittness) is an interdisciplinary artist working between sound, performance and spatial storytelling. Her practice combines voice, electronic instruments and self-built devices to explore the relation between stillness, repetition and the embodied perception of time. Drawing from methods of associative composition and sonic research, she creates fragile structures that unfold between language and resonance.
